Our Local Suppliers

Our Local Suppliers
At Qube, we take great pride in choosing our local suppliers, making sure our ingredients are sourced locally and therefore sustainably. When visiting a Welsh restaurant, we want you to be sampling Welsh fare. It’s easy enough to claim to ‘buy local’, so we’ve decided to put our money where our mouth is and introduce you to the farmers, butchers, and suppliers that make us what we are.

Andrew Rees Butchers
We’ve used Andrew Rees since the beginning, and we have a great relationship with our Narberth-based butcher. Their products are award-winning, and their ethos is traditional.

Neil Thomas – Our Local Fisherman
Also known as ‘The Crabman’, Neil Thomas has years of experience fishing in our very own Tenby harbour. He regularly brings us our lobster, crab and other seasonal delicacies.
Salt + Smoke Smoked Salmon
Two star Great Taste Award-Winning, our smoked salmon is bought from an artisan company under the Qube Group umbrella based near the Pembrokeshire coast. They use ancient methods to infuse a subtle smoky flavour from their traditional stone smoke shed.

PGI Welsh Beef
We are proud to serve premium-quality Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Welsh beef. PGI is a means to identify quality food and drink that is either unique to the terrain that produced it, or the method by which it was created. The PGI Welsh beef we serve is reared on Welsh farmland in Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion with high animal welfare standards and full traceability.
Four Seasons Fruit and Vegetables
Our fruit and veg folk have stayed traditional and reliable throughout Qube’s timeline, providing beautifully fresh produce that feels like it can only have been picked that morning.

Pant Mawr Cheese
Our cheeseboard’s crowning glory is Pant Mawr cheese, bought from the hills in Rosebush. We chose Pant Mawr not only for the fantastic taste, but also because the cheese is developed using locally sourced milk, and their packaging is eco-friendly.

Caws Cenarth Cheese
Crafting organic, artisan cheeses for over three generations in Cenarth, West Wales. Perl Lâs or ‘Blue Pearl’ is an award-winning soft blue cheese.
Loafley Bakery
Quite simply, Loafley are a lovely lot of Tenby locals baking artisan bread just up the road!
Tenby Harbwr Brewery
If you threw a stone from Qube’s front door, you might hit our local brewery, Tenby Harbwr. In a small and historic building ‘round the corner, beers are brewing that are fast supplying many local businesses, to the delight of our patrons. If you haven’t sampled one yet, it’s a must.

Egg Shed
A family run farm who have been producing free-range eggs in Pembrokeshire for over 20 years.
We’re always on the lookout for local businesses to support, so if you or someone you know can provide something to enhance our menu, please let us know. We hope this dive into our behind-the-scenes has been informative, and that your minds are at ease knowing that our ingredients are at the forefront of everything we do. We look forward to seeing you at The Qube very soon!
